Social elections: mission accomplished

The social elections took place on 12 March. We had the honour of successfully accompanying several companies in this democratic exercise and of chairing several polling stations. In Luxembourg as a whole, 8,712 effective delegates have been elected, and 7638 substitutes. The election process is not entirely over, though, and some keys steps are yet to come:

In the event of a dispute concerning the results of the vote in a company, it is possible to lodge an appeal until 2 April, as evidenced by the postmark.

After this date, the results will be deemed valid and the constitution meeting will have to take place within 10 days (deadline: 12 April).

The ITM then needs to be informed of the delegates functions, identity  of the health and safety representative, chairman, vice president as well as members of the ‘office’.
